These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ProductHope Jobs ("the Service") operated by ProductHope ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself when creating an account.

2. The Service

ProductHope Jobs is an AI-powered job matching tool for product managers. We:

• Aggregate publicly available job postings.
• Score those jobs against your uploaded resume using large language models.
• Surface ranked matches and analysis to help you decide where to apply.

We are not a recruiter, and we do not guarantee interviews, offers, or any specific outcome. The Service is a decision-support tool. Final hiring decisions rest entirely with the hiring company.

3. Account responsibilities

• You are responsible for safeguarding your password.
• You must not share your account, sublicense access, or use the Service to scrape, resell, or rebuild a competing service.
• You will notify us at hello@jobs.theproducthope.com immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Plans and payment

• The Service offers a free tier and paid plans. Current pricing is shown on the pricing section of our homepage.
• Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the billing period.
• We do not issue pro-rated refunds for partial months. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us within 30 days.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload resumes that are not yours.
• Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or contains malware.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or probe the matching algorithm.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the Service beyond its public APIs.
• Misrepresent your eligibility, experience, or credentials in a way intended to deceive hiring contacts.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of your resume and any data you provide. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your content for the sole purpose of operating the Service (scoring, ranking, sending alerts). We do not claim ownership of your data and will delete it on request.

7. Job postings

Jobs surfaced through ProductHope Jobs are sourced from publicly accessible postings. We do not represent that any job is currently active or that the salary, location, or other details are accurate. We recommend independently verifying details before applying.

8. AI-generated content

Match scores, fit summaries, and recommendations are generated by large-language models and may contain inaccuracies. They are guidance, not professional advice. You are responsible for your own application decisions. We disclaim liability for hiring outcomes based on Service output.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that match scores will reflect any specific employer's decision criteria.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProductHope and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 5,000.

11. Termination

• You may close your account at any time from the dashboard.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or where required by law.
• On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) continue to apply.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active users at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
