- Define the product vision, roadmap, and priorities across health, education, and agriculture verticals.
- Own end-to-end delivery of AI products from concept through deployment and scale.
- Set and enforce product standards, including discovery rigor, technical specs, evaluation criteria, and deployment quality.
- Build and lead the product organization, recruiting, mentoring, and growing product talent across geographies.
- Represent product capability in conversations with governments, multilateral institutions, and donors.
- Partner with senior leadership on strategy, delivery commitments, and fundraising support.
Required Skills
15+ years of experience in AI product managementBuilding and shipping AI/ML products at scaleExperience with real-world deployment contextsDirect experience working with governments on technology deploymentsStrong technical depth with ML engineers and solution architectureStrategic and structured thinkingExcellent communication skillsPeople leadership and team building in distributed, multi-geography settings
Nice to Have
Experience working with or in AfricaExperience in the Global South or comparable contextsExperience with donor engagement and fundraising supportBackground in social impact / AI for goodComfort with frequent travel and ambiguous environments
